We believe that the cost of a college education should not be a deterrent to your student's pursuit of earning a college degree. W has kept tuition among the lowest in the Southeast. We offer that same low tuition to residents of every state, and a range of scholarships, and grants to help them pay for their education. The FAFSA is your first step toward federal, state, and institutional financial aid. You must complete the FAFSA every year to remain eligible for federal student aid.

The FAFSA is available beginning October 1 the year before you enroll. Many grants and scholarship have early deadlines, so complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to qualify for the most opportunities.

Your student's financial aid package will likely consist of a number different types of aid. Whether they want to study On Campus or Online, all students are eligible for the same financial aid.

W offers part-time employment opportunities to students to help pay for your expenses. Opportunities vary, with positions available in most campus offices. There are two types of work-study opportunities, the federal program and the institutional program. All student-workers are paid bi-weekly.

贷款 are funds borrowed from your bank or other lending institution. Student 贷款 must be repaid, with interest. W is committed to reducing the debt burden of its students. There are many options for helping fund your education, so we encourage you to research all your options. We also encourage families to borrow only when absolutely necessary, and then only to extent that is needed.

Getting Credit for What You've Accomplished

Your student has worked hard to get here and we want to make sure they get credit for all their hard work. W offers university credit hours for certain scores on Advanced Placement Test and International Baccalaureate courses. We can also help you transfer credit hours from community colleges, early college high schools, and dual enrollment/dual credit courses.
